How can I deposit to my Tonik Account?

Hey, luv! To make it easy for everyone, we're giving you 3 ways to deposit money to your Tonik Account:

  • For PESONet, check your bank's mobile app if Tonik Digital Bank, Inc. is already listed. Copy-paste your Tonik account details and send the desired amount.
  • For InstaPay, search for Tonik Bank, Tonik Digital Bank, TDB, or Tonik on your bank's InstaPay list. Copy-paste your Tonik account's details and send the desired amount.
  • From the Tonik App, you can choose from the different bank and e-wallet channels available. These are powered by our payments partner, Xendit. Hope this helps, luv! XOXO
  • For QRPh, Tap the Profile icon, select "My QR," and save the code. Then, scan the QR code using your other bank or e-wallet app! XOXO

     
How can I deposit to my Stash?

You have to first deposit/cash-in to your Tonik Account. You can easily set aside cash into your Stash with funds from your Tonik Account.

My cash-in/deposit transactions are not reflected in the transaction history or in my Statement of Account. What should I do?

Some transactions may not have been posted/settled and therefore are not appearing on your transaction history or in the Statement of Account.

However, if you believe with all your mind and heart that the transaction has been settled/posted but still is not appearing anywhere, please be a darling and contact our Customer Care via in-app Chat or via their hotline at +63 2 5322 2645.

I did cash-in in Tonik App and under the billing details and my name, there is an address I do not recognize. Whose address is it?

If you see the following address:

Pasig City
NCR 1470 PH
Do not worry, it is Tonik's office address. We are using our office address for billing information for all transactions.

Cash-in Channels

I did a cash deposit but my Tonik Account balance has not increased. What should I do?

Please contact us through the chat feature in the Tonik App, or contact our customer care hotline at  +63 2 5322 2645.

Can I do fund transfer abroad?

Oops, no you can't at this moment, sweetie. We'll surely let you know once the we have the capability to do so. Please be a darling and look out for our updates.

Can I receive a fund transfer from abroad?

Oops, no you can't at this moment, sweetie. We'll surely let you know once we have the capability to do so. Please be a darling and look out for our updates.

How can I deposit through PESONet?

Log in to your bank's mobile or web app.

Search for your bank's fund transfer module and select PESONet as the preferred mode of payment.

Enter Tonik Digital Bank as the Beneficiary Bank and other required Tonik account details and information. Perform the required authorization, if any.

Check your source bank's cut-off time for same-day credit.

 

Here are the step-by-step PESONet fund transfer instructions of selected local banks:

AUB to Tonik  

Step 1. Log in to the AUB website or mobile app. 

Step 2. Under Fund Transfer, Select PESONet. 

Step 3. Select AUB source account 

Step 4. Select Tonik Digital Bank as the Recipient Bank, input the transfer amount and your 14-digit Tonik account number and enter other necessary details of your Tonik account. 

Step 5. Review transaction summary then click Confirm to proceed. 

 

BOC to Tonik 

Step 1. Log in to your BOC  mobile app. 

Step 2. On the upper right portion, click the menu icon and select Fund Transfer. Select Other Bank 

Step 3. Click on PESONet as the preferred mode of transfer.  

Step 4. Select Tonik Digital Bank as the beneficiary bank.  

Step 5. Select BOC source account 

Step 6. Enter your 14-digit Tonik account number and fill in the other necessary Tonik account details. 

Step 6. Review your transaction and tap Submit. 

Step 7. Perform the required authorization, if any. 

 

CIMB to Tonik 

Step 1. Log in to the CIMB mobile app. 

Step 2. Under Transfer, select To other banks and choose PESONet 

Step 3.  Select the CIMB source account  

Step 4. Select Tonik Digital Bank as the Recipient Bank, input the transfer amount and your 14-digit Tonik account number, and enter other necessary details of your Tonik account. 

Step 5. Review the transaction summary then click Confirm to proceed.  

Step 6. Perform the required authorization, if any. 

 

Eastwest Bank to Tonik 

Step 1. Log in to your East-West mobile app. 

Step 2. On the upper right portion, click the menu icon and select Send Money. 

Step 3. Select New Payee and choose Tonik Digital Bank under Bank. 

Step 4. Select the Beneficiary type (Registered Payee or One Time Payment) & Payment option (Local Bank). 

Step 5. Enter your 14-digit Tonik account number, select Tonik Digital Bank as the beneficiary bank, and fill in the other necessary account details. 

Step 6. Select PESONet as the mode of transfer. 

Step 7. Review your transaction and tap *Confirm.  

*You may be asked to answer a security question for one-time payments. 

  

ING to Tonik 

 Step 1. Log in to the ING mobile app. 

Step 2. From your Pay Account dashboard, tap Transfer/Pay. 

Step 3.  Select Transfer Money. After taking note of the transfer guidelines, tap Next then Start Transfer. 

Step 4. Provide the needed fund transfer details such as Tonik Digital Bank as the recipient bank, the transfer amount, and your 14-digit Tonik account number. 

Step 5. Select PESONet and continue by tapping Transfer 

 Step 6. Perform the required authorization, if any. 

 

Landbank to Tonik 

Step 1. Log in to the iAccess web app. 

Step 2. On the right side bar under Features, select Fund Transfer. 

Step 3.  Tick the Landbank account from where the fund transfer will originate. 

Step 4. Select Transfer to Other Banks for one-time transfers and click on PESONet.  

Step 5. Enter the transfer amount and other details such as Tonik Digital Bank as the recipient bank and your 14-digit Tonik account number. 

Step 5. Choose Transfer Immediately under Transfer Type 

 Step 6. Select between SMS or Email as your OTP Sending Option 

 Step 7. Review the transaction summary and perform the required authorization  

 Step 8. Tap Confirm to proceed 

 

Metrobank to Tonik 

Step 1. Log in to the Metrobank app. 

Step 2. Under the Profile icon on the top left corner, click Transfer to Other Bank and select PESONet. 

Step 3. Click Transfer for one-time transfers. Select Tonik Digital Bank and enter your 14-digit Tonik account number, account name, address, and e-mail address or mobile number.  

Step 4. Key in the Purpose of your transfer and click Next 

Step 4. Select the Metrobank account from where the fund transfer will originate. 

Step 5. Enter Amount then click Next. 

Step 6. Review the transaction summary and tap Submit to confirm. 

Step 7. Perform the required authorization, if any  

 

PNB to Tonik 

Step 1. Log in to your PNB Mobile Banking app and select Transfer Funds on the side menu. 

Step 2. Tap Other Local Banks – PESONet and choose the source account. 

Step 3. Select New Payee and choose Tonik Digital Bank under Bank. 

Step 4. Enter your name under Tonik account name, your 14-digit Tonik account number under A/C Number, your home address, and desired transfer amount. 

Step 5. Enable Save Payee to List 

Step 6. Review the details you entered and tap Done 

Step 7. Perform the required authorization, if any. 

 

PSBank to Tonik 

Step 1. Log in to PSBank Online. 

Step 2. Click on Fund Transfer. 

Step 3. Select the source account. 

Step 4. Choose target account. 

Step 5. If your Tonik account is already enrolled, select it from the To Enrolled Other Bank Account dropdown list. For one-time transfers, select To Unenrolled Other Bank Account and fill in all mandatory information of your Tonik account. 

Step 6. Indicate the amount you wish to transfer and select PESONet 

Step 7. Review transaction details and click Submit 

Step 8. Perform required *authorization, if any. 

*For enrolled other bank accounts, a password will be required. For unenrolled other bank accounts, password and OTP entry will be required to process the transaction. 

 

RCBC to Tonik 

Step 1: Log in to the RCBC mobile app 

Step 2: Tap the menu icon on the upper right corner and click Fund Transfer. Choose Bank Transfer 

Step 3. Select the source account. 

Step 4: Click on Select Beneficiary and select Tonik Digital Bank 

Step 5: Enter your 14-digit Tonik account number and other Tonik account details. Tap Proceed 

Step 6: Select PESONet as the Transfer Channel and input the transfer amount. Click Transfer Now. 

Step 7: Review the information entered and tap Proceed to confirm fund transfer 

Step 8: Perform the required authorization, if any.  

 

Robinsons Bank to Tonik 

Step 1: Log in to your Personal Online Banking (POB) account and access Direct2Bank from the menu 

Step 2: Choose PESONet as the preferred transfer facility 

Step 3: Enter Tonik Digital Bank as the Beneficiary Bank and other required Tonik account details and information.  

Step 4: Select the source account from where the transfer will originate. Click on Submit. 

Step 5: Check the information entered and tap Confirm to proceed 

Step 6: Perform the required authorization, if any. 

 

UCPB to Tonik 

Step 1: Log in to UCPB Connect or mobile app 

Step 2: Go to Transfer Funds, then click on Transfer to Other Banks 

Step 3: Select PESONet 

Step 4: Review the transaction details 

Step 5: Perform the required authorization, if any. 

How can I deposit through GCash?

It’s easy, luv! You can link your GCash account for easier top-ups. Here's how:
1. Tap "Top up" on the Tonik App Dashboard and select "GCash."
2. If your GCash account is already linked, 
   a. Select the account and choose to top-up via GCash.
   b. Enter your desired top-up amount and perform the required authorization.
3. If your GCash account is not yet linked,
   a. Select "Link GCash account" to link your GCash, or select "One-time top-up via GCash."
   b. Enter your desired top-up amount and perform the required authorization.
4. That's it! Your funds will now be transferred to your Tonik Account.

How can I deposit through BPI Online?

Here’s how to do it, luv. On your Tonik App Dashboard:

  1. Tap “Top up,” select “Online,” then choose BPI
  2. Input your desired top-up amount and your BPI account details
  3. Perform the required authorization 
  4. Once you see a success screen, your money will be added to your account

How can I deposit through UnionBank Online?

It’s super easy, luv! On your Tonik App Dashboard:

  1. Tap “Top up,” select “Online,” then choose Unionbank 
  2. Input your desired top-up amount and your Unionbank account details
  3. Perform the required authorization 
  4. Once you see a success screen, your money will be added to your account

How can I deposit through RCBC Online?

Let’s do it step-by-step! On your Tonik App Dashboard:

  1. Tap “Top up,” select “Online,” then choose RCBC 
  2. Input your desired top-up amount and your RCBC account details
  3. Perform the required authorization 
  4. Once you see a success screen, your money will be added to your account

How can I deposit through Chinabank Online?

Just follow these steps, luv! On your Tonik App Dashboard:

  1. Tap “Top up,” select “Online,” then choose Chinabank
  2. Input your desired top-up amount and your Chinabank account details
  3. Perform the required authorization
  4. Once you see a success screen, your money will be added to your account

Why am I not getting an OTP for my top up transactions?

Hey, luv! You might have registered a different mobile number or email address with Tonik. Don't worry, just make sure the mobile number or email address registered in your other Online Banking app matches with the one registered in your Tonik App. Hope this helps! XOXO

Can I still top-up from GCash without linking my account?

Of course you can, luv!

After selecting the GCash top-up option, tap "one-time top-up via GCash" instead of the option to link your GCash account and authorize the GCash top-up.

While trying to link my GCash, I got an error saying the service is temporarily unavailable. What happened?

We have temporarily disabled the Gcash linking feature on our app indefinitely. Thank you for your patience!

I'm trying to top up the maximum amount of a specific cash-in channel, why is my transaction not pushing through?

Hi there, luv! You may need to adjust the limit for your online/e-commerce transactions in the mobile app of the cash-in channel you're cashing in with. For example, BPI has a default daily e-commerce limit of Php 10,000 in their mobile app. UnionBank mobile app users, on the other hand, may need to enable “Browser Banking” under Login and Security to proceed with their top up.

Now, if your cash-in amount has not been credit to your Tonik Account after two hours, please contact us through the chat feature in the Tonik App, or contact our Customer Care hotline at +63 2 5322 2645. We will confirm the status of your cash out with our payments provider, Xendit.

What documentary proof can I submit to help Tonik resolve my concern?

Hey, luv! You may submit the following documents to help us resolve your concern:

  1. Transaction history showing the successful debit from your source (ex)bank account.
  2. Email or SMS confirmation from your source (ex)bank confirming the successful debit from your account.

Please contact us through the chat feature in the Tonik App, or contact our customer care hotline at +63 2 5322 2645.. We will confirm the status of your cash in transaction with our payments provider, Xendit.

If the top up was confirmed as unsuccessful and my BPI, UBP, Gcash, Chinabank, RCBC account was already debited, when shall I expect a refund to my source or sending bank account?

Hey, luv! Since our payments provider, Xendit, still has to coordinate with their partner banks and channels, It may take 5 to 7 days from when you provided sufficient documentary proof for your refund to be processed. Super thanks for understanding! XOXO

Over the Counter

How Can I cash in via Over The Counter (OTC) Payments?


Good question, luv! There are five ways you can top-up your Tonik Account via Over the Counter (OTC) channels. Just follow the instructions below:

Top-up via CLIQQ app or CLIQQ kiosk (7-Eleven branch)

  • Open the Tonik App. Tap “Top-up” and choose the “Over the Counter” option.
  • Tap “7-Eleven” and input your top-up amount.
  • Go to a 7-Eleven branch near you before the payment code expires.
  • Open the Cliqq App and tap Pay Bills or go to the Cliqq kiosk at the store and select Bills Payment.
  • Look for Search Biller and type Tonik Digital Bank. Fill out the form with your Payment Code, mobile number, and top-up amount.
  • Present your transaction slip to the cashier and pay in cash. Be sure to keep the receipt, luv!

Top-up via M Lhuillier

  • Open the Tonik App. Tap “Top-up” and choose the “Over the Counter” option.
  • Tap “M Lhuillier” and input your top-up amount.
  • Go to an M Lhuillier branch near you before the payment code expires.
  • Tell the cashier/staff you’re making a Bills Payment, not a remittance.
  • Fill out the Bills Payment slip with your name, DragonPay as biller, your payment code, mobile number, and top-up amount.
  • Present your Bills Payment slip to the cashier and pay in cash. Be sure to keep the receipt, luv!

Top-up via Cebuana Lhuillier

  • Open the Tonik App. Tap “Top-up” and choose the “Over the Counter” option.
  • Tap “Cebuana Lhuillier” and input your top-up amount.
  • Go to a Cebuana Lhuillier branch near you before the payment code expires.
  • Tell the cashier/staff you’re making a Bills Payment to XENDIT
  • Fill out the Transaction form with your name as sender, Xendit as receiver, your Payment Code, your mobile number, and top-up amount.
  • Present your Bills Payment slip to the cashier and pay in cash. Be sure to keep the receipt, luv!

Top-up via Palawan Express

  • Open the Tonik App. Tap “Top-up” and choose the “Over the Counter” option.
  • Tap “Palawan Express” and input your top-up amount.
  • Go to a Palawan Express branch near you before the payment code expires.
  • Tell the cashier/staff you’re making a Payment to DRAGONPAY
  • Fill out the Transaction form with your name as sender, DragonPay as receiver, your Payment Code, your mobile number, and top-up amount.
  • Present your Bills Payment slip to the cashier and pay in cash. Be sure to keep the receipt, luv!

Top-up via LBC

  • Open the Tonik App. Tap “Top-up” and choose the “Over the Counter” option.
  • Tap “LBC” and input your top-up amount.
  • Go to an LBC branch near you before the payment code expires.
  • Tell the cashier/staff you’re making a PayCollect payment to Xendit.
  • Fill out the Transaction Form slip with your name, your mobile number, your Payment Code, date of transaction, and top-up amount.
  • Present your Transaction Form slip to the cashier and pay in cash. Be sure to keep the receipt, luv!

Why am I electing DragonPay or Xendit as the biller when I make an OTC top up?

Good question, luv! 

Xendit processes Online and OTC top-up transactions for Tonik. They also made a strategic investment to DragonPay last 2021 to address the payment needs of Filipino businesses.

What should I bring to the OTC branch to complete my top up transaction?

Just prepare a proof of identification, a pen, and a screenshot of your payment code generated from the Tonik App before going to the nearest OTC branch, luv. Please be extra patient while you wait in line, okay? XOXO

I changed my mind and decided to top-up via a different OTC channel. Why can’t I cancel my existing payment code?

Oh no, luv! Our payments partner doesn’t allow for immediate payment code cancellation. It’s best to generate a payment code as soon as you arrive at your chosen OTC branch, since it takes just seconds to generate one from the Tonik App. ​

A new OTC payment code may be generated in the Tonik App after two hours of non-usage or immediately after a successful OTC top-up.

Is the term payment code the same as a reference code?

Yes, luv, they are the same. Some tellers might refer to the generated payment code from the Tonik App as a reference number. XOXO

The teller seems to be unfamiliar with my top up transaction. What can I mention to the teller that might be helpful?

You can mention “Tonik Digital Bank” and “Xendit” when topping up at LBC and Cebuana Lhuillier branches, while you can mention “DragonPay” at  Palawan Express  and M Lhuillier branches.

What does the OTC top up code look like?

The code is alphanumeric and uses the prefix TNKDGT. BTW, luv. Letters are all in uppercase, so don’t mistake the “I” for an “L”! XOXO

Up to how much can I top up via the OTC channels?

Hey, luv! You can generate a payment code for up to PHP 5,000. We don’t have a daily cumulative limit for OTC top ups, but our partner channels might have daily transaction limits depending on their KYC requirements. Super thanks for understanding. XOXO

What amount found in my Tonik App should I use to pay the teller and complete my top-up?

Hey, luv! Please use the “Total amount to pay at cashier” when topping up via OTC channels. This already includes the top up amount and the transaction fee of PHP 30. XOXO

How soon can I top-up via OTC again after I made a successful cash-in?

You can generate a new payment code in the Tonik App immediately after a successful OTC top up. Yes, it’s that easy, luv! 

Why can’t I directly pay my monthly loan amount due via your OTC channels?

Hey, luv! We’re currently working on a better loan payment experience for you. In the meantime, you can top up your Tonik Account via OTC and click “Pay Now” in the app. Your payment will automatically get posted to your loan account on your due date.

Do I have to wait for my due date before my OTC top up gets posted to my loan account?​

Hey, luv! If you click on “Pay Now” and pay thru your Tonik Account before your due date, you will get a notification that Tonik has received your payment. It will automatically get posted to your loan account on your due date. On the other hand, if you clicked “Pay Now” on your due date, your payment will be immediately credited to you loan account. What should I do if my OTC top-up is not reflected in my Tonik Account yet?

Please contact us through the chat feature in the Tonik App or contact our Customer Care hotline at  +63 2 5322 2645 if the top up amount has not been credited to your Tonik Account after two hours. We will confirm the status of your transaction with our payments provider, Xendit.
