Starting October 1, 2025, PESONet and Instapay transfers from Tonik to other banks will have a minimal fee of P8 per transaction. This fee only applies to send transactions. No fee in receiving funds, luv!
You can continue sending to other Tonik accounts for free. Payments to merchants and billers via QRPH also remain free of charge.
Transfer fees will start on October 1, 2025. You can enjoy free transfers until September 30, 2025!
We charge a small fee to help keep the service running smoothly and securely. It covers the cost of maintaining reliable transfers for you. We’ve made sure the fee stays as low and fair as possible.
Tonik DOES NOT charge for receiving money from other banks. You may check with your (ex)bank for transfer fees they impose.
The transfer fees would be added on top of your transaction amount. You can send up to P50,000 to other banks via Instapay, and you would be debited P50,008 to include the fee.
To review your send transactions and fees you've paid for each, you may review your Transaction history by logging in to your Tonik app and tapping the History button on the dashboard.
Payments done via Instapay's P2M (Pay to Merchant) and P2B (Pay to Biller) are still free. That means you can shop, dine, and pay your bills free of charge with QRPH participating merchants and billers. Some stores use personal QRs for their transactions -- like when you pay for your coffee and the recipient's name on the QR is a person's name and not the store's name. These count as person-to-person transfers which have a P8 fee.
Stay tuned and follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for more news on Tonik promos!
Should there be issues with your Instapay and Pesonet transactions, both the transaction amount and the transfer fee would be credited back to your Tonik account. You can review the refund details on the Tonik app's Transaction History dashboard.
