Read our Terms and Conditions below to earn 4.5% interest p.a. on your couple Luv Stash:

  1. Program period: February 1, 2024 – February 29, 2024.
  2. The participation in the program is open to all verified Tonik customers with an open Tonik Account who can invite one new, verified Tonik customer to start a Luv Stash. Customers who have closed and reopened their Tonik Account are not eligible to participate in this program.
  3. The Tonik customer must have a verified Tonik Account to start a Luv Stash. To verify your Tonik Account, you must submit any one of the six valid and eligible government IDs. Learn more here: https://tonikbank.com/faq/how-can-i-upgrade-my-tonik-account
  4. To be eligible to obtain the program reward of the current Group Stash higher rate, participants in this Luv Stash program must have completed all of the following missions during the Promo Period (12:01 AM of February 1, 2024 to 11:59 PM of February 29, 2024):
    1. Successfully create a new Tonik Luv Stash from 12:01 AM of February 1 to 11:59 PM of February 29, 2024
    2. Invite 1 new Tonik customer with a verified Tonik Account to the Tonik Luv Stash from 12:01AM of February 1 to 11:59 PM of February 29, 2024
    3. Both savers in the new Tonik Luv Stash must contribute at least P14 each to that Luv Stash from 12:01 AM of February 1, 2024 to 11:59 PM of February 29, 2024 and maintain that minimum balance (at least P28), for at least 3 months from the date when the Luv Stash starts earning 4.5% p.a.
  5. Participants who complete all three actions any time during the Promo Period (February 1, 2024 until February 29, 2024) will get the higher Group Stash interest rate with just 2 savers instead of 3 savers, from March 8, 2024 until June 8, 2024. Tonik reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the program with prior notice.
  6. For purposes of these terms and conditions, "Luv Stash" shall mean the corresponding newly created Group Stash feature existing in the Tonik App which is specifically covered by this promotion. This particular type of group stash shall only be available and identified as such, i.e., "Luv Stash", during the aforesaid promotional period.

  7. The following are not qualified to participate in this promotion:

    • Non-Filipino citizens
  8. If Tonik revises the interest rate given to the regular (non-promotional) Group Stash that fulfills the conditions for higher interest rate (having 3 savers where 1 owner + 2 members need to contribute at least P1 each), the program reward in the form of interest rate will follow the regular (non-promotional) Group Stash that fulfills the conditions for higher interest rate (having 3 savers where 1 owner + 2 members need to contribute at least P1 each), i.e., if the Group Stash interest rates changes while the Luv Stash is still active and accruing interest, after the 3 months effectivity of the 4.5% p.a. interest earning, the Luv Stash will follow the same interest rate.
  9. This promotion only applies to a Luv Stash that is opened, with a successful invitation to 1 new Tonik customer, and successful contributions from both savers (owner + 1 member), during the Promo Period. Actions done before or after the Promo Period are not considered as fulfilment of the promotion requirement.
  10. Tonik reserves the right to cancel the participation of participants if any abuse, fraud, or proven suspicious activities are found, or if found to violate the Terms & Conditions of this program, the Tonik General Terms & Conditions, or any prevailing regulations of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

Specific notes on Luv Stash:

  1. Luv Stash can be accessed by the Luv Stash owner (i.e. person who opens, starts the Group Stash, and invites members to the Group Stash) and Group Stash invited members. The deposit of funds is solely through the Tonik Account of the Group Stash owner and the Tonik Accounts of Group Stash members, while the withdrawal of funds is solely through the Tonik Account of the Group Stash owner. The Group Stash will not be linked to the Group Stash owner’s ATM/Debit Cards.
  2. Funds transferred to a Luv Stash will belong to the owner of the Group Stash. Usage of funds is solely within the discretion of the owner of Group Stash.

  3. Savers in the Luv Stash must contribute at least P14 each in the Luv Stash to earn the 4.5% p.a. interest rate. If less than the required Luv Stash savers are contributing, the Luv Stash will get the Solo Stash interest rate of 4% p.a.

  1. What are the requirements for me to join the Luv Stash Promo?

    Hi there, luv! It’s easy! All you need to do is have a Tonik Account, create a Group Stash, invite your special someone (who should be a new Tonik customer with a verified account) to the Luv Stash, and have the both of you contribute to the Luv Stash with at least PHP 14 each during the Promo Period.

  2. How do I create a Tonik Account?

    Just download the Tonik App, go through the onboarding process, and make sure to upload a valid ID for verification.

  3. How do I verify my Tonik Account?

    Upgrading your account is very easy. You only need to upload one (1) of the accepted government-issued IDs and confirm the details of your ID. Please note that the actual upgrading process will be done during the next day after the request has been made.

  4. How do I create a Luv Stash?

    After creating and verifying your Tonik Account, go to the “Stashes” tile, and create a Luv Stash. From there, you are free to invite your Luv Stash partner.

  5. Does my Luv Stash partner have to be a significant other so I can join the promo?

    Though we’re targeting couples and significant others for this promo, your Luv Stash partner doesn’t have to be strictly on romantic terms. It can be a best friend, or your sibling, or anyone else you trust enough to save with! As long as it’s a special somebody you have financial goals with and is someone who will open a Tonik Account for the first time and have it verified all within the promo period as well. Luv is everywhere, after all!

  6. Do I need to sign up for the Luv Stash Promo in order to participate?

    No, there is no sign-up process or requirement for this promo.

  7. I closed my Tonik Account before the start of the program. Can I participate in this program if I reopen my Tonik Account?

    No, customers who have closed and reopened their Tonik Account are not eligible to participate in this promo, sorry!

  8. If I make more than one Luv Stash and do the same mechanics during the promo period, will those other Luv Stashes also get the interest rate that is only credited to at least 3 savers contributing?

    Nope! This promotion only applies to 1 Luv Stash. Should there be more than 1 Luv Stash created, Tonik has the right to determine which Luv Stash or Group Stash will receive the promotional interest rate. Tonik's decision on determining which group stash receiving the promotional rate is final and binding

  9. How much do I have to contribute to get the interest rate that is only credited to at least 3 savers contributing in a Luv Stash?

    Both you and your partner in your Luv Stash must contribute at least PHP 14 each or a combined total of at least PHP 28 during the Promo Period.

  10. When will the new interest rate that is only credited to at least 3 savers contributing in a Group Stash reflect on my Luv Stash with me and my partner?

    The new interest rate on your Luv Stash will start on March 8, 2024.

  11. What is the difference between a Luv Stash and a Group Stash?

    For purposes of these terms and conditions, "Luv Stash" shall mean the corresponding newly created Group Stash feature existing in the Tonik App, which is specifically covered by this promotion. This particular type of Group Stash shall only be available and identified as such, i.e., “Luv Stash”, during the aforesaid promotional period.

  12. What are savers, members, and owner of a Group Stash?

    An owner is the person who opens the Group Stash. Members are the people invited by the owner of the Group Stash to contribute to the Group Stash.

    Savers can be either the owner or members.

Mechanics

  1. Create a Luv Stash from 12:01AM on February 1, 2024 to 11:59PM on February 29, 2024. The Luv Stash must be named to be eligible.
  2. Invite a non-Tonik customer to open a Tonik account, ensure that they verify their new Tonik Account, and join the newly-created Luv Stash with you within the promo period.
  3. Both members must contribute at least P14 each to the Group Stash within the promo period.
  4. After completing steps 1-3, your Luv Stash will start earning 4.5% interest rate p.a. on March 8, 2024.
  5. The Luv Stash will continue to earn 4.5% interest p.a. up to 3 months from the date of creation, as long as the Luv Stash maintains the minimum amount of PHP 28. Afterwards, the interest rate will revert to 4% interest p.a.
