Product Manager: App Experience

As the Product Manager: App Experience, you’ll own Tonik’s foundational app UX — structure, navigation, usability, clarity, flow consistency, content tone, and release quality. This role manages QA and Content and ensures the Tonik app is clean, intuitive, and delightful. It focuses on how the app flows, not what drives retention.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the redesign of the Tonik app experience – from dashboard to entry points, and all customer touchpoints
  • Design the Tonik Score logic and experience with Data, Risk, Business, and Tech team. Incorporate the Tonik Score logic on all app products/features to feed into the credit score of the customers
  • Conceptualize, plan, and deliver app-wide initiatives
  • Own the app and audit each flow for the best UX experience, identify frictions, implement changes.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Product teams to 1) create and refine business requirements with business analysts, 2) coordinate the product development with the backend and mobile app dev team, and 3) agree on a release plan with the tech delivery team and the Product team
  • Conduct end-to-end Product UAT testing
  • Track, monitor, and optimize key app performance metrics around app engagement and user retention
  • Leverage performance data and market/customer trend to identify new opportunities for product enhancements and innovations as part of bottom-up approach in defining loan roadmap. Ensure top-down loan roadmap aligns with such data

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, IT, or related field.
  • 7+ years in product management (in fintech or banking) building and launching mobile app products
  • Strong data-driven mindset and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerBI or Datadog is a plus.
  • Familiar with product design tools like Figma and LucidChart. Familiar with change management systems such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience in operational roles is a bonus.
